Dell CFO Yvonne McGill to Step Down After 28 Years

Dell Technologies announced on Monday that Chief Financial Officer Yvonne McGill, a nearly three-decade veteran of the company, will be stepping down from her role. The news marks the latest in a series of high-level departures at the PC maker, though the company moved to reassure investors by reaffirming its third-quarter and full-year financial guidance.
In her place, David Kennedy, senior vice president of global business operations and finance, will assume the role of interim CFO effective September 9. McGill will remain with Dell as an adviser until October 31 to ensure a smooth transition. Following the announcement, Dell's shares saw a modest decline of about 1.8% in after-hours trading.
In , the company stated that McGill's departure was mutually agreed upon and "not the result of any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to its financial statements, internal control over financial reporting, operations, policies or practices."
